

Mordimi is my first branding project I did during my first year of University. It's purpose was initially to design for a food truck company of our choice and to create the brand from scratch. Eventually, I decided to rebrand the whole concept to a traditional Italian restaurant based in Mauritius. The complete rebranding also included packaging design as well as other collaterals such as uniform and menu designs.

VISUAL ELEMENTS
I chose this particular visual aesthetic as the brand's archetype is the Jester and the brand's identity is described as authentic, passionate and funny. Using Pop art as visual direction was a bold move but it helped bring the brand's vision to life as well as connect with the target audience which primarily consists of University students.
